Tars gives Claude a real memory. Instead of markdown files and vector search, it stores your world as a graph: entities, timestamped facts, and the relations between them, served to any MCP client. Everything runs on your machine, Postgres and local embeddings, nothing leaves the box. Each night it consolidates the day, links new facts to old ones, and reconciles contradictions. Benchmarked on LOCOMO: the right memory reaches the model 82.9% of the time. MIT licensed, one command to run.
