As a remote-only team, we've now been using Tandem for more than 2 years. Besides Tandem we're using Slack for chat-based, async communication and Notion for documentation and collaboration (i.e. anything that is not ok to be gone within a day, like stuff written in Slack). Especially for a remote team Tandem really bridges the gap. You have the presence of your team in the same way as ICQ and MSN, and everyone is easily accessible. Prior to Tandem people tended to schedule an event in the calendar resulting in 30-45 min blocks and a big mental hurdle that in an office environment would've just been solved by seeking eye contact with someone. This is what Tandem does fix! Would not run a remote team again without it.

Review of Tandem
Changes the remote-team game. We use Slack and have tried all the tools and apps out there for running our teams (I have 2 companies: 1 with 8 and another with 3). This changes the game for communication. It's fast, it's reliable (once the initial setup bugs get out of the way), and just works. You guys rocked this and meet our needs. Talking with a remote team member is now as easy as popping into their virtual office for a chat.

We've been using Tandem at Basedash since the start of the year, it's definitely our favorite form of meeting these days. Reliability and performance have been steadily improving over the past months which was our biggest concern when we first started using it. Love the flexibility of all the different types of calls—scheduled meetings, persistent rooms, ad hoc calls, and now team tables—which all seem to have their own place.

Wow, awesome to see this at the top of ProductHunt! I was introduced to Tandem right before they changed the name from Wisp. Our team has been using it for about 2 months or so, and it has been a really nice way to start conversations. Working remote, you find that there is this weird social awkwardness over starting calls or wanting a super quick call with another teammate. Tandem has the best solution for that problem from what I've seen thus far. The team works hard and cares a lot about customer feedback which is awesome. Keep it up!

Tandem is a simple, effective way to improve impromptu collaboration and create the "virtual water cooler." Valuable for team camaraderie and overall productivity. We tried to do this on Zoom by offering optional office hours. It started to feel like a meeting on people's calendars, and thus ... it failed to catch on. Bravo Tandem team!

If you never used Tandem do it right now! It is like being at the office but you are at home. What I like the most : - "wave" 👋 at other to seek help without disturbing them - it is sooooo easy to share your screen with others to seek help or demonstrate something - high fives are sooo satisfying Great job @rajiv_ayyangar and the team

Our team has been using Tandem for a while and I have been loving all the micro updates that they have been pushing which makes us all feel connected while working virtually. It's hard to explain what in particular makes this product great, but once you start using it it is hard to use anything else.
