I spent four years doing backend at a big corp. Every day before leaving, I had to write an end-of-day summary. Some days I’d forget, and the next morning I couldn’t remember what I actually did.
When I started working on my own stuff, the problem got worse. Nobody’s making you write a daily report, but when a client asks “what’s the status on that thing?” you better have an answer. I tried voice memos — recorded a bunch, never went back to listen. Tried Notion templates — opened the app, saw a wall of empty fields, closed it.
The idea is simple: talk for two minutes after work, AI structures it into notes. No typing, no thinking about format. Just talk, and let the machine handle the structure.
Started with a generic version. Realized pretty quickly that different jobs need completely different outputs — a real estate agent needs client follow-up notes, a therapist needs session notes, a contractor needs hours and materials tracked. So I built 15 industry-specific formats. Each one outputs something actually useful for that job.
Bunch of technical lessons along the way. Speech recognition was terrible on non-American accents — ended up switching the real transcription to Whisper. Payments run through Creem. The whole thing is just me — code, icons, blog posts, all of it.
$15/month, 14-day trial. If you’re tired of writing end-of-day reports, give it a shot.
