Talking Cam (On-Device AI, 13 Languages): On-device AI camera that talks back in 13 languages

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m excited to share Talking Cam with you today. This started as a personal challenge: could I get a large language model to run entirely on-device, even on older hardware like an iPhone 11? After a lot of trial and error (and model squeezing), the result was more fun than I expected — a camera that literally talks back in 13 languages. 👉 All the demo videos are captured on iPhone 11, with no cloud or server calls. 👉 Just point the camera, and it instantly narrates what it sees. I wanted to make something that’s not only technically interesting for AI enthusiasts, but also surprising and entertaining to use in everyday life.
