TalkDash

Keep event speakers on time and send them live messages

I've been running events in London and noticed speakers often went over their allocated time and were not sure how much time they have left. With TalkDash, all speakers have been on time. (My largest event had 7 speakers speaking over 2 hours).

A small, free, open source app that helps event hosts run their events on time, with less hassle. I've used whilst hosting a few events, and found it to be quite reliable: every speaker has been on time! It also has a basic stopwatch and clock. Hi there! TalkDash sounds like a great tool for event organizers. I'm curious to know if it has any features that allow speakers to track their own time and receive notifications when they are approaching the end of their allocated time. Also, have you considered integrating with popular presentation software like PowerPoint or Keynote? This could provide a seamless experience for speakers. Looking forward to hearing more about TalkDash!

Hey @dmytrosem, thanks for your message. After your message, I've added automatic messages to the screen at 5 minutes, 1 minute, 30 seconds and "times up". The speakers can track their time by just watching the clock. I haven't yet considered integration with presentation tools, since at my events, every speaker uses something they prefer (often but not always Google Slides). I would be willing to build something if there is interest :)
