Launching today
Talkbar adds an intelligent chat experience to your website, helping visitors find clear, relevant answers instantly using your existing content. Easy to set up, lightweight, and accurate, Talkbar improves discovery, reduces friction, and helps users get to the right information faster without changing how teams manage content.

Hey Product Hunt! I'm Karan, co-founder of Talkbar.
Websites are still stuck in 2010.
A visitor lands on your site at 11pm with a specific question. There's a chat widget in the corner. They type something. It spits back three pre-written FAQ responses that don't quite match. They rephrase. Same answers. So they leave, and you never knew they were thirty seconds from converting.
Talkbar answers that question. Not with a script. Not with a menu of options to click through. With a direct answer, pulled from everything already on your site, in the moment the visitor was ready to decide.
And here's the part that surprised us most while building this: every question a visitor asks is a signal your analytics never captured. Not a click or a scroll depth. An actual question, in their own words. "Do you integrate with Shopify?" "What happens if I cancel?" "How is this different from X?" That's your visitor telling you exactly what stands between them and a yes.
What Talkbar does:
Answers visitor questions with real responses, not links
Remembers context within the conversation
Indexes your entire website automatically
Shows you what visitors are actually asking
Matches your brand's look and voice
Works with Shopify, WordPress, and any site that supports an embed
Setup takes under a minute. Enter your URL, Talkbar learns your content, paste one line of code into your site's HTML, and it's live. No engineering team required.
Early users include companies like Kyvos and Impetus. We're live today and you can try Talkbar on your own website right now, 2 months free: https://talkbar.ai/
Curious to hear from this community: when a visitor lands on your site with a specific question and can't find the answer fast enough, do you think they try harder, or do they just leave?
@karan_kankariya1 Been waiting for this day!
I run growth here and the part that still gets me is the questions people ask. You think your site explains everything clearly and then someone types "wait so do you actually integrate with Shopify or not" and you're like... okay fair point.
Talkbar gives the easiest user research. Go set it up, takes no time.

Congrats on the launch!
I see you're pulling from site content, but do you have a roadmap for for integrations to CRMs, ticketing systems, or other tools.. say to eventually push a chat transcript directly into a HubSpot contact record or open a Zendesk ticket if the AI can't answer the issue?
Great question @gayatri_sachdeva , we’ll be launching a HubSpot integration soon.
Initially, the focus will be on identifying users coming from campaigns (UTMs, landing pages, etc.) and mapping them to HubSpot contacts. We’ll also push chat transcripts to HubSpot for all conversations. Not just failures, but also successfully answered questions.
The goal is to capture user intent (pricing, features, support, etc.) and attach it directly to the contact, so chat becomes a core signal inside your CRM, not a separate channel. This will also help surface cases where Talkbar couldn’t generate satisfactory answers, highlighting content gaps that may have impacted the user experience.

@saurabh80 Right, that sounds like the right approach giving that signal to the CRM - looking forward to seeing this live :)
Congrats on Launch !!
Few quick questions:
Once integrated, does it keep on scaning site for changes like a sale or a policy update, how does it handle real-time changes ?
How does it handle conflicting information (old scan vs new change) ?
Is it just a chat interface or can search via images or voice ?
@tarun31 Thanks Tarun.
1. We’ve taken a practical approach here. Talkbar lets you sync on demand whenever you make changes, or set up auto-sync on a schedule (daily, weekly, etc.). This keeps things fresh without the risk of aggressive crawling or getting blocked by site protections.
2. With Talkbar, there's full control on your side. Every scanned page is visible in the backend, and you can remove or deselect stale content anytime. Once it’s out, it’s completely excluded from responses, so no surprises :-)
3. Talkbar is not just a chat. Talkbar can understand content from images on your site as well, so answers generated will be inclusive of information provided in the images. Voice isn’t supported yet, but definitely on the roadmap.
Congrats on the launch! What happens when Talkbar can't answer something? Does it let the visitor know or just guess?
@ermakovich_sergey If there is a question that Talkbar is unable to answer, it will let the visitor know rather than guessing or making something up.
Every response is grounded in the content provided by the website, so there are no hallucinations.
You also get visibility into unanswered questions through the admin dashboard, so you can identify content gaps and improve your site over time.
How is this different from a normal chatbot?
@anshika_rai1 Hi Anshika, Talkbar isn't a chatbot. There's no conversation flow, no scripted responses, no 'How can I help you today?' prompt. It's a search bar that sits on your website and answers questions using only your site's own content, powered by RAG. Think of it as giving your visitors the same experience they get on ChatGPT or Perplexity, but scoped entirely to your website.
@pranjal_jaju Visitors will get instant, accurate answers instead of digging through your site or bouncing. That means longer sessions, lower drop-off, and more people actually converting. Plus every search tells you exactly what your audience cares about, so you can fix gaps in your content and messaging.
What makes it different: it's not a chatbot. No scripted flows, no training needed. It's a search bar powered by RAG that answers questions using only your site's own content. One embed code, live in minutes.
Congratulations! Useful features.
Will it be able to pick the content from the videos, if any exists in a website to answer any question?
@gopi_palm Thanks Gopi!
We do have video extraction in the pipeline, we are able to do images, pdfs, and other types of files currently.
