As a DJ with a 10k+ song library, I constantly struggled with organizing music inside Spotify. Playlists felt limiting - a song could only live in one place unless I manually duplicated it everywhere.

Then Obsidian showed me the power of linking ideas instead of forcing everything into folders.

So I thought: Why can't we tag songs the way we tag notes?

Screw playlists, I want to tag individual songs, and have my playlists build themselves automatically based on rules I define.

So I built Tagify.
