Hey Product Hunt
I built TabScroll because switching between many Chrome tabs is much harder than it should be.
Ctrl+Tab makes you cycle through tabs almost blindly, and titles or favicons aren’t always enough to recognize the page you need. I wanted something closer to Alt-Tab—but designed specifically for browser tabs.
TabScroll opens a full-screen visual switcher with previews of your open tabs. You can:
• Scroll or use the keyboard to browse
• See the page before switching
• Press Enter or click to open the selected tab
• Quickly return to the tab you were looking for
It’s free, requires no account, and tab previews are generated locally.
This is still an early version, so I’d genuinely appreciate your feedback. What would make TabScroll more useful in your everyday browsing?
Thanks for checking it out!

been needing something like this for ages, the default browser tab switcher is basically unusable once you hit like 30 tabs. one thing that would be really handy is a quick search box at the top so you can just type a few letters instead of eyeballing all those tiny previews. would save a ton of time honestly.

Finally gave this a spin and the full screen view is way easier on my eyes than the default Chrome tab strip, especially after a research rabbit hole. Wish the search box was a bit more prominent but overall a solid fix.

TabScroll finally makes sense of my usual 40+ tab chaos. The live preview thumbnails are surprisingly smooth and the keyboard shortcuts feel natural after just a minute.

Finally something that rescues me when Chrome has 60 tabs open and I can't find anything. The full-screen grid actually makes scrolling through them feel less overwhelming.

Finally, a tab switcher that doesn't make me squint at tiny favicons. The full-screen grid makes it so much easier to spot the right tab without playing hide and seek with my dozens of open windows.

The full-screen preview is such a smart call—seeing actual page thumbnails instead of tiny favicons makes finding the right tab so much faster when you have a dozen open.
