Hi Product Hunt! For the last two months I have been working on a tool which allows people analyze data without coding or using complicated tools. All you need is to upload an excel file and ask questions in chatGpt manner. The story started with following question: if you are proficient in marketing, product management, finance or business analysis, do you really need to code to get useful insights from data? My GF is a business analyst, she is good in understanding business processes and competitors, communicating with people, working on tight deadlines. However, when she was looking for a new job she was refused a few times for her inability to code and work with data. This puzzled me, because in my opinion, her professional skill are more important than knowing how to code. That's how I started to work on this app. The app is mostly built on a bunch of API agents which concurrently execute mini-tasks to generate working code. It's quite a popular approach for code generation. However, I have not found exactly the same project which would work with excel files and produce reliable code. Currently, my app handles only moderately dirty datasets, and does not have the memory of dialogue (for cost efficiency). Also, it fails sometimes, mainly from format error. In future to develop the engine further, to substitute api by open source models, and train models which accept table as part of input. At the moment, I need to understand if this is a valid idea in terms of market demand. Most of my friends think this is quite obvious idea, however I have not seen working examples yet (have seen only B2B examples working with SQL). What are your thoughts?
