I built TabConnect because I wanted a simple and secure way to share a browser tab with a few people, without asking them to install anything or join a full screen-sharing session. This is still a very early version, and I’m launching it now to get real feedback while it’s small and easy to improve. The goal is to make tab sharing feel lightweight: open the extension, share the tab, send a short code or link, and let others join instantly in a clean viewer. Right now the public version runs peer-to-peer and is limited to up to 5 viewers, which works well for small demos, support sessions, and walkthroughs. I’m especially looking for people who want to test it in real scenarios and tell me what feels good and what doesn’t. For early testers, I also have an SFU-based beta available if you need something more scalable than P2P.
