I built syntaxmaster.dev because I was tired of my own workflow.
Every debugging session looked the same — 5 or 6 tabs open simultaneously. One for JSON formatting, one for JWT decoding, one for diffing configs, one for regex. Each site had a different UI to learn, different ads to close, and a different answer to "does this actually send my data somewhere?"
🧰 What started as a JSON formatter grew into 60+ tools as I kept adding "one more thing I always reach for." The 13 language-specific diffs came from never finding a decent YAML or SQL diff online that wasn't terrible, behind a paywall, or required opening a full editor just to compare two files.
The design took longer than the tools. I wanted something that felt like a product worth using — dark and light modes, fully responsive, works on your phone. Most dev tool sites look like they were designed when jQuery was new.
It's free and ad-supported — no paywalls. Every tool works without an account, and you can share your work publicly without signing in. Google sign-in is there if you want to manage your saved snippets.
🌎 It's fully available in English and Spanish — a few of my closest developer mates are based in Latin America, same frustrations, same tab-switching, same questions about where their data goes. Felt like the obvious thing to do.
