Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Giannis, one of the two developers who built Syllogic, a self-hosted personal finance dashboard you can deploy with Docker or Railway in about 10 minutes. We built it because we couldn't find a tool that did it all. Mainstream apps held our data behind subscriptions or weren't honest about what they did with transaction history. Open source alternatives were either envelope budgeters, a methodology that didn't fit how we think about money, or so feature-heavy they took a weekend to configure. None had the clean, modern look and feel we were after, and free bank connectivity for European users was essentially unsolved. We wanted something minimalist, with real European bank connectivity via Enable Banking, that ran entirely on our own infrastructure and actually felt good to use every day. So we built Syllogic. It tracks balances, recurring spend, and cash-flow trends across all your household bank accounts and investment portfolios. It imports and exports via CSV. AI categorisation is available if you bring an OpenAI API key, and fully local Ollama support is on the roadmap. It also ships with a native MCP server. You can talk to your financial data directly through Claude, even from your phone, and ask things like "how much did I spend on restaurants last month?" or "which subscriptions have I not used in 3 months?". Other open source tools in this space rely on third-party community plugins for this, we built it in from day one.
