sweetspots

Hi everyone! I am excited to introduce our app sweetspots – the first micro-podcasting platform for foodies. sweetspots enables you to share restaurants, cafés, and bars recommendations using 40 sec long voice messages. Our goal is to make recommendations more authentic and entertaining than the ones you find on traditional star ratings and text-based platforms. We tried to keep the app clean and simple. Currently, you can: • listen to voice recommendations from the community, friends, and vetted editors • record your own recommendations (so-called “spotcasts”) and add images • discover voice offers and news from restaurants, cafés, and bars owners • interact with other users by replying to their “spotcasts” • follow other users you deem interesting and get notified when they upload new content We launched 3 months ago in Vienna (Austria) and are slowly opening the app to other cities in Germany and Switzerland.
