Greetings, Product Hunt community - Maker of Swayy here. Extremely excited to be on Product Hunt today, both to introduce Swayy to the community and to receive any and all feedback you may have. We came up with the idea based on a problem that my fiance, (and almost all of her friends) face on a daily basis: deciding on an outfit to wear. She, and her friends, use varying forms of texting or social media to post outfit decisions, however we felt that there was an inefficiency in sourcing feedback from friends in a fast, easy and fun way. Interestingly enough, while outfit decisions were the impetus for creating Swayy, the use cases that we have seen since our launch have far exceeded our initial hypothesis. We have see four primary reasons in which people utilize Swayy: personal decisions (asking friends for feedback), group decisions (making plans with your group of friends), non-decisions in which you care about the outcome (who is better, LeBron or Kobe? What's better, Chipotle or Chick-fil-a?), and non-decisions in which the outcome is trivial and unimportant to the purpose of sending (who wore it better, my friend Joe or Brad Pitt?). We synced with a Web Image API in order to quickly source pictures from the internet within Swayy. In addition to getting feedback from friends, Swayy has evolved into a platform where you can get personal feedback from experts. We have seen a number of Fantasy Football and Fashion bloggers join Swayy and ask their followers to send THEM decisions, on which they can lend their expertise. This provides the "Reverse Engagement Model" from other platforms, in which influencers will post content for all of their followers to consume. We are very excited about our first 17 days of progress and are looking forward to receiving your thoughts. So the next time you have a decision to make.....Swayy it.
