What do you think? …

Adam Pascarella
Hey everyone, I wanted to share with you a project that I’m working on. It’s a media organization called Suspend The Rules. Think of The Skimm with a couple important twists. First, I wanted to create a newsletter that sums up the most important news of the day in talking points form. Talking points are known to be highly politicized buzz phrases that suit a predefined narrative or agenda. Instead, I’m focused on delivering the facts, straight to your inbox, five days per week. Next, I wanted to embrace visuals to help readers recall the talking points. Studies show that the best way to remember content is through visualization, and I embrace the “memory palace” technique to help readers remember talking points as they go about their day. I think it’s an effective tactic and something that not many news companies are currently embracing. Finally, I spend a good amount of time discussing contracts on the PredictIt platform. I’m thinking of starting a small portfolio and sharing my justifications behind investing in certain contracts. Time will tell whether readers are interested in PredictIt or my picks. I absolutely welcome any and all suggestions or comments. Let me know what you think! Thanks, Adam
