Hi Product Hunt, I'm Nathan, I built SureVett. I started it when Mozilla shut down Fakespot. Ten million people had been using it to check Amazon reviews, and overnight there was nothing. The replacements I tried either handed me a number with no explanation or wanted an account and my browsing history. So the rule for SureVett was: show the reasoning, and keep it on the device. Every grade comes with the five signals behind it, each with a plain-English note on what it saw, so you can argue with it. In the extension, the analysis runs in your browser; the review data never goes to a server. Two honest limits, because the whole product is about being honest. The grade rates how trustworthy the reviews look, not how good the product is. And on a lot of pages Amazon simply doesn't publish everything, so you'll sometimes see a signal marked unavailable rather than a made-up score. One thing I don't think anyone else in the category does: we publish our full grade distribution across everything we've graded, about 7,400 products so far, A through F.
