Hey, I'm Jean, an indie dev from Sweden. I built Supanator out of pure frustration last summer while I was on vacation in Bellvik. I didn't have easy access to a computer, but I still needed to manage and control my database projects on the go. The existing mobile apps just didn't cut it, and while Supabase is amazing, their dashboard is very much a desktop experience. I started building my own solution just to browse tables and run basic queries. But as I actually started using it, I kept hitting walls. Writing complex SQL on a phone keyboard is miserable, so I added an AI assistant to help. I also kept forgetting my foreign key relationships, which led me to build a visual schema designer. And since copying auth tokens around always felt sketchy to me, I implemented proper OAuth. The funny thing is that I originally started an Android version just to learn Kotlin, and somehow it ended up with more features than the iOS app. Next up is the Play Store launch, deeper AI integration, and some team features.
