SugarSpin was built and created by Roger Trier, a music lover who wanted a simple, beautiful way to listen to his personal music collection right from his own NAS, without relying on streaming services or giving up control of his library.
As a huge vinyl collector, along with other nostalgic formats like cassettes, MiniDiscs, and good old reel-to-reel tape . Roger wanted a way to take his music collection on the go. Since you can't exactly carry crates of records with you, he built SugarSpin.
This is for anyone who still believes in owning their music. For the ones who spent years collecting albums, ripping CDs, hunting down rare tracks, and building a library that tells the story of who they are. Your music deserves a home that respects it.
No subscriptions. No algorithms deciding what you should hear. No songs disappearing because a licensing deal fell through. Just your music, your way, always there when you need it.
