Product update: from community feedback to product improvements 🇲🇽
I built Sueldo Listo to answer a practical question: “If a job offer lists a gross salary, how much would I actually take home in Mexico?”
After sharing it on Reddit and LinkedIn, people brought up situations that helped shape the product:
→ Comparing a new offer with their current salary.
→ Getting paid every 14 days rather than twice a month.
→ Understanding why withholding can change in a month with five weekly payments.
→ Making sense of deductions when accepting a first job.
Those conversations informed the offer comparison tool, the 14-day pay option, the monthly payroll review tool, and the first-job-offer guide.
The latest update adds a public feedback section connecting those questions to the improvements and the original discussions. You can explore it in Spanish or English:

The tools are free, require no registration, and calculate in your browser. The main salary calculator estimates ordinary wages for IMSS-affiliated employees, with sources and assumptions explained.
If you’ve navigated a job offer or payroll in Mexico, what was the hardest part to understand? No need to share salary amounts or personal documents.
