I built Sudoku Fun4Kids because traditional Sudoku is often too complex and too number-focused for young children. My goal was to keep the logic of Sudoku while making the first steps much more approachable. The app started with emoji-based 4×4 and 6×6 puzzles and has since grown to include number and letter modes as well. I also spent a lot of time simplifying the interface, enlarging touch targets, and reducing anything that could distract younger players. Privacy was equally important to me, so the app has no ads, tracking, in-app purchases, or account requirements and works completely offline. I’d be very interested in feedback, especially from parents, teachers, and anyone working with younger children.
