As a fellow iOS indie maker about to launch my first app, I'm curious: how did you handle the App Store review process for an app that deals with financial data?
Any pushback from Apple on the subscription tracking features?
@misbah_abdel Thank you so much, really glad the trial tracking is helping; that “forgot until the charge hits” scenario is exactly what I built it for.
On App Store review: I focused on being very clear in the app and in Review Notes about what data is collected, where it lives (e.g. on-device vs server), and that I am helping people track subscriptions. didn’t run into major pushback on subscription tracking specifically; the usual expectation is transparent privacy copy and accurate screenshots/metadata.
