Hey Product Hunt! π
I'm the maker of Subtrack. Here's the quick story:
6 months ago I checked my credit card statement and saw a
$120 charge for a design tool. I had used it TWICE in the
entire year. I completely forgot it was active.
Then I went through everything and found I was paying for:
β’ A VPN I hadn't used in months
β’ A cloud storage plan I upgraded "temporarily"
β’ A meal kit subscription I thought I cancelled
β’ Two streaming services I barely watched
Total waste: $80+/month.
I looked for a simple tracker. Everything I found either
wanted to link to my bank account, charge me money, or
both. I just wanted a simple list β what do I pay, when
does it renew, how much do I spend total.
Couldn't find it. So I built it.
A few things that make Subtrack different:
π No bank linking β you add subscriptions manually
π No account needed β no email, no sign-up
π No data collection β everything stays in your browser
π No premium tier β it's just free
What's next:
β’ Export to CSV
β’ Category-wise breakdown (Entertainment, Work, Health...)
β’ Shared subscriptions tracker (for family plans)
β’ Dark mode improvements
Would love to hear what features you'd want. I read every
comment.
Also β curious: how many active subscriptions do you have?

π‘ Bright idea
Would love the ability to categorize subscriptions like streaming, software, fitness etc. so the dashboard can break down where the most money is going by category, makes it way easier to spot where I can cut back.

@kadir40akΒ Great suggestion! We are already working on adding categories and a spending breakdown in the dashboard. Stay tuned for the next update!

Finally, something that doesn't make me hand over my bank login just to see what I'm paying for. The local-only approach is genuinely refreshing and the dashboard view is clean.
