Hi Product Hunt, I am Simon, the founder of SubPorter.
Earlier this year I sold a small SaaS. I discovered Stripe copies cards across accounts, but does not move products, prices, billing meters, or active subscriptions. The existing migration tool cost €300, which made no sense for a small exit. I wrote scripts, handled the cutover by hand without double-charging anyone, and turned those scripts into SubPorter.
SubPorter replaces custom scripts with three verifiable safety gates:
1. The source account stays read-only during staging.
2. Subscriptions renewing within 48 hours, or with discounts, trials, past-due status, or complex tax settings, route to manual review rather than failing silently.
3. Destination subscription schedules anchor to real renewal dates before the source subscription is cancelled at period end. Both parties sign off and receive an audit packet.
