Been using Sublime for years and years an it always does it job, while also being very easy to use. I edited files with hundreds of thousands of lines, written scripts and plain notes with it.

Sublime Text is super fast and great for quick edits or coding on the fly. Its clean interface and responsiveness are a big plus. However, it lacks some built-in features found in modern editors like VS Code, and many advanced tools require manual setup or plugins. Good for minimalists, but not ideal for all workflows.

Fastest coding editor on earth, works perfect on Mac OS, and uses far less RAM that VSCode, or any other competitor, recommended. It only lacks AI integration.

Dead simple and crazy fast text editor that can handle pretty much any file type you throw at it. Also serves as a simple code editor in a pinch.

Fast performance, flexible settings, a wide range of plugins, and support for various programming languages make Sublime the ideal tool for me for creating web applications and websites. Features such as multi-line editing, code autocompletion, and much more significantly enhance productivity and convenience.

The UI is very polished, this is the first pretty text editor I used. It was my first encounter with a command palette, which greatly increases the productivity when coding. This editor was my daily driver for a good 5 years.

I like the interface of the new version much more than the old one. Special thanks for the updated Python plugin APIs and the built-in Russian language support.

Sublime is fast and performant. In my opinion sublime should use same bindings as other editors like Jetbrains and VSCode. I used to work on sublime in my college time. I use Jetbrains and VSCode along with vim at work and jumping to sublime, need me to learn brand new keybinding, some keys were same but shortcuts like go to definition, find usages were not supported directly. Hope they read this and improve that.

I keep coming back to Sublime Text. 🤷‍♂️ VS Code has a faster pace of updates, but Sublime Text is the steady, reliable editor I fell in love with years ago. Its performance is top-notch, its keybindings are engraved in my fingers, and its UI is uncluttered. I said once that using web tech to do basic computer tasks is like using a helicopter to travel down the street. Sublime is like an electric car: it can't do everything, but it's so fast and smooth that everything else feels clunky by comparison.

it's native build, not based on electron, which is very good. maybe less expensive to personal user?
