Hello Product Hunt! 👋
I’m incredibly excited to share Subdue with you all today.
We’ve all been there: signing up for a free trial, forgetting about it, and spotting a mysterious charge on our bank statement a month later. As an app developer obsessed with clean, native UI/UX (think Apple Health or Wallet), I was frustrated by subscription trackers that were either overly complex, required mandatory accounts, or locked essential features—like basic sync—behind a paywall.
I built Subdue to solve this natively and elegantly. The goal was simple: provide instant clarity on your spending while respecting your privacy.
Here is our commitment to you:
* Privacy is the default. Subdue uses local-first storage. iCloud sync is fully supported and completely free. Anonymous analytics are opt-in only.
* No paywalling the basics. You can manage your library, track trials, get trial reminders, and sync across devices without paying a dime.
* Real tools for Premium users. If you upgrade, you get powerful tools like the Impact Simulator (to preview savings before changing plans), a biometric-locked Private Services Vault, and extended yearly insights.
I would love to hear your feedback on the UI, the onboarding flow, and how you manage your own subscription fatigue. What features would you like to see next?
I'll be hanging out in the comments all day to answer your questions!
