I built SubDeck because managing a large YouTube subscription list started becoming frustrating. I was subscribed to a lot of channels, but YouTube’s default subscription feed made it difficult to keep track of the creators I actually wanted to watch.
I wanted a simple way to organize channels into folders and have separate feeds for different interests, so I built SubDeck for myself first.
As I worked on it, the idea grew beyond just folders. I added customizable folder layouts, subscription management, activity tracking, and a more flexible feed experience. I’ve continued refining the extension based on how I actually use YouTube and feedback from early users.
The goal is simple: make YouTube subscriptions feel organized and manageable again.
