A company founded and headed by a woman, serving mostly women, half of whom are women of color. So of course this company flew under the radar among white male VCs. Yet funny how building something huge and successful gets everyone to notice eventually. I'm really proud of Melody and the StyleSeat team. They are directly improving the lives of hundreds of thousands of stylists and millions of their customers.
