Review of Style Lend
If I could give 0 then I would. For one, upon renting, the owner texted me and asked me to see my social media pages and to take them off of private so she could see me. She followed me on social media. She tried to determine if I was fit to borrow based off my pictures. She spoke to me as if I was stupid and told me to return the bag the day after I use it. I’m going to assume she hesitated once she seen that I am a black woman. Secondly, my package was marked as delivered and I never got it. I reported it ASAP (Around 30 mins after said delivery date) and the lender and owner both told me I need to pay for the full cost of the bag because I should’ve waited outside in the cold for UPS. I explained to them both that I reviewed all cameras with my land lord and UPS never came. They told me I was lying. They told me I need to pay for the bag and called me irresponsible mind you I did nothing wrong. I texted and emailed the owner the minute I seen my package was marked as delivered. She never responded but responded to the lender and made a group email with them attacking me. Fast forward a few days later. I went to UPS and they showed me proof that the lender put the incorrect address and that it wasn’t UPS fault, it was actually the lenders fault for shipping out a package to the wrong address. The owner emailed me and told me if I was a decent person, I’d go retrieve the bag from the address it was shipped to. What? No apology. No, nothing. I am disgusted with this company. The CEO is a racist and disgusting person to her core. A $2,000 bag was delivered to an address and a person accepted it knowing it wasn’t their name on the package. What in the LENDERS & CEOs right mind would they think the person would give it back 2 days before Christmas to me? I don’t even know them. I’m pretty sure the bag has been sold. It was delivered to another building that is 20 minutes away from me and she has all audacity to tell me to go get it to help the lender. The same lender who was rude to me. No thank you.
