I think that there's a real need for this product--from what I've seen of certain male friends, updating one's sock and underwear collection seems to be a low priority. The makers of this service are intending to service college males, but I think entrepreneurs are a great market as well--who has time to shop?

@kikischirr I don't quite understand why it's male-only, though. Kind of feeds into the notion that busy women always make time to shop. (Not true! I hate malls and I always need more socks.)

@stttories@kikischirr I agree about the socks, I never remember to pick them up and I avoid the mall as much as possible. Socks, underwear and a matching lipgloss and I am all in:).
@stttories@kikischirr Hi Tori - I am a lover of women -- I have 2 sisters, a great wife, and 5 (yes) daughters! I just found that men (overall) had more issues with laundry and hygiene when it came to socks and briefs. We'd love to have a women's line as well, so hopefully in the near future!
This looks like a great service. I am at the point in life that I do laundry but can certainly see the need for it. You may want to consider doing some targeting for the single military crowd as similar demographic to college students but they would want to see something targeted towards them. One idea I once had on the sock vertical which I would love to see, is someone making some plain tan, black, etc.. socks. I hate that I have all these socks that I can't match due to some subtle pattern in the fabric. Something that is more interchangeable so when the mysterious dryer monster comes around you can still match with another.
@robertwilliger We completely understand that dryer monster. SYNC 's mission is to produce highly-branded, colorful one-of-a-kind socks (and briefs) that are so inexpensive that if you lose one of them, you have another pair coming very soon. I know exactly what you're talking about regarding the solid black socks -- small differences in stripe width or thicknness or content and you don't want to wear them unless they match exactly.

Socks in the mail is a great idea. This is something I've mulled over for quite some time. I'd love to see a service like this that shipped socks in higher quantity and then connected with a donation/garment recycling service for socks that are on the way out. One step closer to a fresh pair of socks every day :)
If you can target this in Australia... you will make a killing. This is such a cool idea. May be also ad some plain boring t-shirts, white normal everyday stuff...
