Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm the maker behind StudyNest.
As a student and creator, I found myself constantly juggling separate tabs for Pomodoro timers, Lo-Fi loops on YouTube, and Notion calendars to plan my daily work. Not only was it distracting, but the setups felt sterile. I wanted a study space that felt cozy, alive, and rewarding.
That is why I built StudyNest—a single-screen ambient sanctuary where focus meets aesthetic design and satisfying progression. My goal was to create an eye-safe environment where students, writers, and developers feel supported during long grinds.
We are currently 100% free, fully cloud-synchronized with Google Firestore, and ready for you to make your own. In the future, as we grow, we are planning to expand into interactive group study rooms and optional premium features!
I'll be hanging out in the comments all day! I would be incredibly grateful to hear:
1. What is your go-to soundscape mix (Rain, Cafe, or Campfire)?
2. What room theme or aesthetic style should we add next?
3. Any features or tools you feel would take your flow state to the next level?
Thank you so much for stepping into the Nest. Let's study together! 📚☕✨

Looks dreamy, but how customizable are the soundscape mixes? Can I actually layer three or four ambient tracks at different volumes, or am I stuck with preset combos?

@cihanatagan Yes you can!!! It's a new app when like you later 4 to 5 tracks together it lags a little (sometimes) but we are fixing that and to say it's pretty customisable

How does the soundscape mixer actually layer the rain, cafe, and campfire sounds together, and can I save my own custom mixes to switch between them quickly?
How does the gamified leveling system actually work in terms of what earns XP and whether the progress or badges stay tied to my account if I switch devices?

@cemreivaq Ya so like if you log in or sign up then whenever you close the app your data stays safe like everything from your personalized themes to the badges

💎 Pixel perfection
The layering of custom soundscapes in the app is genuinely clever, being able to mix rain with a cafe murmur feels closer to a real environment than just hitting play on a single loop. That kind of audio detail sets it apart from other pomodoro tools.

🧐 Good find
The rain + campfire soundscape mix actually made me focus longer than expected, and the XP system gave me a weird little dopamine hit for finishing a set. Cute app overall.

The ability to layer rain, cafe, and campfire sounds together in one synth is a really thoughtful touch—most ambient apps force you to pick one mood. That kind of mixing flexibility shows the team actually thought about how real focus sessions feel.
