StudyIndex: AI that turns any PDF into a full study plan

The core insight: the hardest part of studying is not the studying itself — it's knowing WHAT to study, WHEN to review it, and whether you actually understand it. StudyIndex solves all three. A few things I'm especially proud of: - The PDF extraction drills down to specific, atomic sub-topics (3–6 per chapter) — not just chapter names - Practice exams in 3 real formats: MCQ for recall, Short Answer for understanding, Long Essay for synthesis - Ambient sounds (wind, rain, ocean) generated in-browser via Web Audio API — no YouTube rabbit holes Built with Gemini 2.5 Flash, Firebase, React + Vite, and a Workbox service worker for offline support.
