šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰ First of all, thank you so much @kevin for hunting our product. It was a huge pleasure for our team to get to know you and discuss current problems we are trying to solve regarding online collaboration. Thanks again for all the meaningful advices! Hi Product Hunters! Won here, BD Manager at Strum. We are super excited to introduce you a Lightweight Audio Whiteboarding Web-App 'Strum', designed specifically for remote startups. Being an early stage remote startup team ourselves, we meet at least twice a day online to discuss daily plans and share works in progress. Using traditional meeting solutions, we often encounter difficulty communicating with each other, since we have to share every screenshot, file, and any other digital outcome to be discussed, followed by a verbal explanation. To prevent time being wasted on meetings and to promote accurate delivery of information, we started building our own product, Strum. Strum is a communication tool for jobs that require frequent file exchanges and discussions. We are developing online, remote solution for interactive reviews, that allow for different file formats such as .png, .pdf, .docx, ppt, and more. HOW TO USE STRUM 1) Create a room and invite people 2) Drag and Drop files 3) Visualize them in our unbounded canvas 4) Verbally discuss while using annotation tools WHY STRUM? šŸ”Š Direct VOICE Connection 🤩 Lightweight ā˜€ļø No Download Necessary šŸš€ Fast Rendering Speed Our goal is to eliminate the following steps: 1) downloading files, 2) active commenting, 3) resending multiple revisions, and 4) setting up a realtime video meeting to prevent confusion – just to name a few solutions that we strive to provide. We reason that a simple comment, either written or verbal, would not be an adequate way to make accurate and efficient communication with remote team members. Hope you enjoy using our product, and looking forward to your feedbacks and comments that can help us improve! Cheers!

looking good. Is it free? I did not see pricing details.
Won Joon Jang
@new_user_113d78b7f9 Hello Ankit! Thanks a lot for positive feedback. And yes, you are currently using a free version of Strum with limited features and capacity. This is the version that we are distributing to the individual customers who do not need large data storage. We will be charging teams and businesses that are willing to use our product and the pricing will be determined specifically for each team according to the size of data they require. You can reach out to us by mailing (jang@strum.us) for more details!

Ara Ghougassian
Oh this looks cool! It's been a bit difficult using our whiteboard with some of the team remote. Looking forward to giving this a try :)
Won Joon Jang
@ara_ghougassian1 Hey, thanks Ara! Hope you really get a chance to try them out with your team while you upgrade your product 'Fluent'! It wouldn't take long to learn how to use them since we primarily focused on simplicity! Hope you enjoy using Strum!

Very cool! Love whiteboarding, but hate having to do it over a webcam
Won Joon Jang
@gknd95 Thanks Gavin for your support and we definitely feel the same way! Although sharing each others emotion through webcam might be necessary for some meetings, I believe optimizing on sharing files and any digital work outcome is a key to an accurate and efficient team collaboration.
Patrick Burns
Looks very cool! What's the core user type you've found?
Won Joon Jang
@pattyjburns Hey Patrick. Glad you liked it! Although we were initially targeting remote startup teams, we discovered that there are considerable demands for our product within educational institutions and outsourcing platforms as well. We are still gathering more data to validate our core user group!
