Fantastic app. As a top 10 global leaderboard user, I've enjoyed this reboot from Day 1 (much more than Run an Empire!). Worth every penny and keeps me exploring regularly. I look forward to every weekend trek with a passion I never had before. Only areas of improvement are better customer service and more attention to weeding out cheaters. It seems only posting on Reddit gets some attention from the devs, and even then it's occasional. Other than that minor quip though, the app is a solid 10!

Love it, have played since in beta. In my experience Stride really shines at 2 things: 1) encouraging you to explore new areas to color in the hexes. As an added incentive, if you do a loop run all of the hexes in the middle color in as well. Stride's led me to get out of my same-old run and explore all kinds of new, different routes that I never would have. It's made running far more varied and interesting. 2) the first time I lost hexes to another player I found myself caring and plotting a new running route to reclaim the hexes. This social competition has led to a friendly tug-of-war of key hexes which definitely makes running more exciting.

Been trying to walk more, especially during this pandemy, and after weeks of using it I noticed that I actively make more efforts in going outside (also to keep them raiders away from my precious hexagons). Overall, it's great UX and the UI is pretty.

I just returned from my run using my Garmin. The game synchronized nicely. That is a must for me behause usually I do not take my phone with me when I go running. Like the app so far.

Great app that adds some fun to your walks and runs. No need to use the app while your out and about, since you can upload your routes from Apple Health. However, the devs don’t respond at all to feedback about cheating users. They literally post about Product Hunt and different campaigns on Reddit but ignore users’ complaints about cheaters. So I’m not sure if I’ll stick around in the long run, if they only focus on monetizing and expanding and not taking care of the existing users.

I've been using the free version of Stride, which has really motivated me to go out on (longer) walks and explore new territory. I like the competitive element of 'chasing' others who also frequent that area. I've had a few instances in which the app froze or didn't save, which was annoying. This may now be resolved. I'm considering joining as premium member but think it's too expensive. The upside of that would be to be sort of a club or community, which I'm currently not

Loving this app. Makes me run further to get those extra hexes. In fact I'm off out in 10 minutes to do a big loop of my neighbourhood to fend off rivals!

Cool, original, unique. Stride has definitely added another dimension to my running and walking. I’ve found myself taking different or new routes than usual to try and expand my territory.
