Look nice. How do you guys deal with copyrighted content? I'm browsing the platform at the moment, and pretty much all I see is 'pirate' streams of copyrighted films :)
That's bound to cause you massive legal issues (and I know what I'm talking about, we're still in the middle of a lawsuit because of old football streams...).
@tim_lb we're fully DMCA compliant. Legally platforms have 24 hrs to respond and we do so within 3 hrs and have a takedown tool. We've also built close relationships with rights holders to make sure they know we're on their side.
We also have ambitious original content iniatives happening to greatly boost content quality and quantity. More here: variety.com/2016/digital/news/streamup-live-streaming-original-series-1201704651/
@kyledmichelson mmm sorry to say this but I'm not sure you can get away with juste providing a takedown tool. I've been browsing the site since yesterday, and basically, all I'm seeing is people broadcasting copyrighted films/animes, for people to watch them for free.
You must see how this can't last for long. If you start gaining some traction, you'll be asked to take steps to proactively ensure this doesn't happen... This has happened to YouTube, JustinTV and a lot more before you guys.
@tim_lb actually, we've fully vetted this with our legal team already and the reality is we handle everything within the letter of the law. Thanks for your feedback.

I like to just pull out my phone, interact with viewers and have fun 🙌🏻 your tools are what's gotme leaning towards you guys, but as a relatively new app, is there possibility for discovery? What are some of the numbers you guys can brag about? Just as an indication.
