I use apps to watch live sports events, and I frequently experience transmission failures. I wanted to have proof that demonstrated how the internet transmission was failing, not just the result of my internet speed but how it was maintaining bandwidth, and to know if it was the cause of the interruptions and freezes. It downloads a real TCP stream from the server, samples every 500ms to measure the throughput, and monitors if the transmission drops below 2.5 Mbps to detect interruptions.

Finally a tool that actually shows the real issue instead of just a speed number. Watching it catch a stream drop below 2.5 Mbps was super helpful for diagnosing my sports stream freezes.
Finally a tool that shows what my ISP actually does during a live match instead of just blaming my wifi. The 500ms sampling caught a real drop I never would have spotted otherwise.
Finally a tool that shows the real story behind stream drops, not just a speed number. The 500ms sampling caught micro-freezes that never showed up in my usual speed tests.
Finally something that tells me if my ISP is actually the problem or just my Wi-Fi acting up. The 2.5 Mbps threshold matches what I see in real time, and the 500ms sampling feels responsive enough to catch those freezes mid-game.
