StreamHopper connects to your bank via Plaid (read-only), scans transaction history, and surfaces every recurring charge — including 200+ services like Patreon, Substack, and Prime Video Channels that most trackers miss. Renewal reminders 7/3/1 days before billing, plus one-click cancel links straight to each service. $2.99/mo or $30/yr — a quarter of Rocket Money's price, no bill-negotiation upsell, no app to install. Just a fast web app at streamhopper.co.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm James — building StreamHopper with Jon, our first paying user (and the reason this exists).
Last year Jon checked his bank account and found he was paying for 11 things every month. He could name 6. The other 5 were Audible from a free trial that converted, a Substack he hadn't read in a year, cloud storage from a phone he no longer owns, and two streaming services he'd deleted the apps for but never actually cancelled.
I'd hit the same wall. Most "subscription managers" either cost $12+/mo (which feels insane when the whole point is saving money) or they try to negotiate your bills and take a cut. We wanted something dumber and cheaper: scan the bank, find the recurring stuff, send a reminder before each renewal, link straight to the cancel page. Done.
It's $2.99/mo or $30/yr. Free up to 5 subs. No app — just a web app, works on phones.
We're small — two paying users so far, founder-built, real product. This is the first real launch. What I'd love from you:
1. Tell me what's broken or confusing.
2. If you connect your bank, tell me what we missed (or falsely flagged).
3. Roast the pricing page if it's not obvious why we're a quarter of Rocket Money.
Thanks for being here.
— James
