Hello Product Hunt! 👋
I'm thrilled to launch StormCal, a tool born out of my own family's schedule chaos. Like many of you, I was wasting precious time trying to decipher poorly formatted schedules—whether on PDFs, in emails, or even scribbled on flyers—and then manually entering them into a calendar, event by tedious event.
StormCal uses AI to solve this headache:
Upload Anything: Just drop in your schedule document, take a photo of a flyer, or even paste text from an email or group chat (PDF, JPG, CSV, etc.). It can process one event or a hundred instantly.
Smart Filtering: The AI analyzes the content, then asks you simple questions, like "Which team is yours?" to filter out all the irrelevant clutter.
Bulk Editing Magic: This is my favorite part! Use the command bar to make instant changes to all the events at once. Type in things like: "Make all events 90 mins in duration" or "Add 'Team Practice' prefix to all events."
Instant Export: Download the curated and corrected events directly to your personal calendar.
This is my first-ever web app, and I built it to give people back one of their most valuable assets: time. No more wasting an hour manually entering events—get it done in seconds.
I'd love for you to give it a try and share what schedules you're using it to tame! What's the biggest schedule pain point you have right now?
@chilarai Thank you for taking the time to check it out, @chilarai ! What do you find the most valuable feature of StormCal? What is the largest area of opportunity to improve this product?
@bryan_baldwin Bulk scheduling with a prompt is pretty awesome, and so is scanning a document to find the events. It's a great app, but I think you should incorporate two things: 1. SSO with Google for faster onboarding. 2. Save to Google Calendar for notifications and visibility in the Google Calendar app.
Today everyone has a Gmail, even people using iPhones. Plus Cal and calendly also have it :)

@chilarai Those are some excellent ideas. I do have Google Calendar integration, I just don't have it in the marketing material yet. But it makes sense to add SSO with Google.
