StopBot is a real-time bot detection API suite: block malicious traffic by IP/ASN/hostname/VPN reputation, verify emails and phone numbers, and run bot-aware smart URLs — all through one API key, with a dashboard for logs, blacklist/whitelist, and stats.
It would be great if the API could return a confidence score alongside the bot decision, so I can set custom thresholds for different routes on my site instead of treating every flag the same.
Dropped a few suspicious IPs into the API and the ASN reputation check flagged stuff I wouldn't have caught manually. The bot-aware smart URLs are a clever touch for tracking real engagement.
Finally tried StopBot and the ASN and hostname filtering saved me a ton of time setting up firewall rules. The dashboard is clean and the API responses are refreshingly fast.
