Like we all know, most fitness apps out there are: (1) for beginners & soccer moms, trying to make a quick buck selling some bs workout tutorials filmed by regular trainers that would make Dom Mazzetti look like an IFBB PRO. (2) for fitness newbies who's obsessed over calories counting and not putting in hard work to do that 100 reps squat nor train like an athlete. (If you compete in some intense sports that requires explosive movement like football or MMA you know you could eat whatever and still be cut af) (3) Offline workout logs, simple, but still a glorified version of notebook. Would it be cool, if people could find out who's the strongest in any gym, and see your friends' and star athletes' training program? (Not just one random 550lb squat Instagram video, but actually a comprehensive program with a couple exercises that shows what one does on a specific training session.) Think how many athletes out there in NCAA, pro leagues that trains on a daily basis, and the equipments they train with are universal on every corner of the earth (dumbbell, barbell, medicine ball...) something could be done with this commonality here. So I spent a couple month and developed this little app called SternFit that let you discover and share training programs to the world and find out who's the strongest in your gym. I would like to hear your suggestions of this idea, hit or miss? Thank you all in advance!
