Hey Product Hunt! I’m Uriel, and I built StepByStories because I wanted to learn languages by reading books I actually cared about. The problem was that real books were often too difficult for my level, while most content made for language learners wasn’t something I would normally choose to read. StepByStories tries to solve that by adapting real books and stories to your CEFR level (A1–C2), while keeping the story and writing style as close to the original as possible. You can also listen to an audiobook generated for the adapted version while you read. I’ve been building this on my own for the past few months and there’s still a lot I want to improve.
