Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built Steady for the moments parenting advice never seems to be there for — the 6pm meltdown, the third wake-up of the night, the morning you snap before you've even had coffee. Most parenting apps are courses, trackers, or streak machines that ask for *more* of you. Steady is the opposite: you open it when you're already at your limit, and within a few seconds it gives you something calm and concrete to say or do — grounded in developmental psychology, not vibes. A few deliberate choices: • No accounts, no streaks, no guilt-trip notifications. It should help, then get out of your way. • When the moment looks like a real crisis or a medical red flag, it surfaces the right human resources instead of an AI answer. • Nothing about your hardest moments is gamified, scored, or shared. It's iOS-only for now. I'd genuinely love feedback — especially from parents who are in the thick of it right now.

opened it during a bedtime standoff and the meltdown advice was actually useful, not generic. love that it doesn't ask you to sign up for anything first.

@semihljmi this made my morning. the bedtime standoff is exactly the moment I built it for, so hearing it held up there means a lot. no-signup was a hard rule from the start, nobody has a spare hand for account creation at 8pm. if anything ever does land generic for your kid, I want to hear about it.
