Stay Human: One card a day, one real thing to do

I built this because I noticed I was reaching for my phone to feel something, and it never worked. Every app that tries to fix this punishes you. Screen time walls, guilt graphs, a lock you can tap past in two seconds. I did not want another thing telling me off. I wanted a better offer. So: one card a day. It arrives at an hour you cannot predict, so there is nothing to check. It carries one small act that takes a few minutes and happens away from the screen. You do it, you stamp it, and the app goes quiet until tomorrow. There is no feed to fall into, because there is nothing else in there. The whole deck is 139 cards across six packs. The first twenty six are free, which is about a month. No account, no sign up, your state stays on the phone. The app carries no analytics SDK, which is a product decision rather than an oversight. Two things I would genuinely like your opinion on: The card is the whole product, so the moment it turns over has to feel like something. I rebuilt that flip more times than I want to admit. Tell me if it lands. And the sharing: when you finish a card you can send it to one person as a dare. Not a post, not a leaderboard, one person. I think that is the only kind of sharing this idea deserves, but I would like to be argued with. Happy to answer anything.

Stay Human launches here tomorrow.

It gives you one card a day. Something small you can actually do today, not an intention. You do it, you stamp it, and the app has nothing else to show you. Tomorrow's card stays face down until tomorrow. I wrote the cards by hand. The rule I kept was that a card has to be doable before midnight, by anyone, with no equipment and no mood. No feed, no streak guilt, no account.
