I built StatusPulse because I wanted a fast, no-fluff way to monitor APIs and get notified the moment something breaks. Most uptime monitoring tools I tried were either too expensive for simple use cases, or packed with features I didn’t need. I wanted something that’s: - Minimalistic but powerful - Developer-friendly - Built with privacy and speed in mind So I challenged myself to build a full SaaS from scratch — using only Rust (Axum, SQLx, Tokio) + Tera for templates + SendGrid for alerts.
