Static IP Relay is a hostname-swap solution for accessing ip whitelisted API and database. Enter the URL you need to access, get a relay hostname, and swap it into your code. Existing solutions require new env vars, package installation, and code changes, adding complexity and vendor lock-in. Static IP Relay removes that completely. On top of that, all of our plans come with conventional HTTP/SOCKS5 proxy for advanced users too.

Hello, maker of staticiprelay here.Have you ever encountered an IP-whitelisted API or database? A friend of mine did. He is technical enough to vibecode an app, but he's not a dev. He even set up a proxy VPS on AWS with llm, until it kept dying randomly for OOM. Static IP Relay came from that: a simple way to get a dedicated static outbound IP with just a hostname swap.
If you’re comfortable with backend engineering, the DIY route is probably your best option: spin up a VPS, attach a static IP, configure it as a proxy, and maintain it yourself. But that still comes with extra moving parts: maintain the server, network config, and the worry of unexpected bills from a misconfiguration.Even for a backend engineer, it’s a bit of a hassle. Cost-wise, you’re usually looking at around $7/month on AWS with something like a t4g.nano with an Elastic IP attached, or maybe a few dollars less with other providers. With the AI wave bringing in more new builders, I don’t want someone to get blocked or discouraged from building their idea just because an API or database requires IP whitelisting. That’s why we’re starting at $9/month, unlike our competitors at $19 or even more. We also offer a 3-day free trial, so you can make sure it works before you pay.
Any feedback is appreciated, including improvements I can make on the security or legal sides if they could help bring in potential clients. If you've seen anyone who had any issue with static IP whitelisting, please let me know! I did build the service with builders in mind, but business clients are more than welcome.
