A static site generator you're going to love. No more complicated configs or bloated frameworks. - Static is easy. - HTML is easy. - Yet, somehow we lost the art of crafting simple Static HTML websites No longer will this stand. Say hello to Static!

Hello Fellow Indie Hackers 👋 Earlier this year I was working on a static website and I was not too happy about the current landscape. Most static site generators were overkill for the simple site I needed to build. I was in need of a static site generator that was as simple as working with HTML. I wanted to host it on Github pages. Oh, and it would be nice if it had a way to utilize layouts or include partials. But, nothing existed... Until today 🚀 I would like to introduce you to Static ⚡️ The simplest static site generator the world has ever seen! It's as simple as working with HTML with out-of-the-box support for TailwindCSS. It also has layouts, partials, and a Github action to help you deploy in seconds! Be sure to check out the documentation (https://static.devdojo.com/docs/) to learn about all the features available 🙌
Congrats on your launch! Simplicity is the key point! Thank you

Cool project. Looks so easy to get started with Static. Templates are great and I love your retro creative design. Congratulations for the launch and hope more developers will support it. Launching something without AI or ChatGPT in the name takes courage.

How is this better than Jekyll and Middleman? What's the plan?
