Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built StashPin around the “safe-place paradox”: you put a passport, spare key, document, gift, tool, or storage bin somewhere sensible—then forget the exact spot when you need it. The idea is simple: save the item, location, and the clue your future self will understand. You can add notes, tags, alternate names, photo clues, and location history, then search across them later. Privacy was part of the product decision from the start. StashPin is local-first, requires no account, and includes no ads, analytics, or tracking. Optional Personal iCloud Sync stores content in your private Apple CloudKit database. You can start with up to 10 active items on iPhone. I’d love to hear which kinds of things you most often put somewhere “safe” and then lose track of.

Finally an app that solves my "where did I put that thing" problem without needing yet another account. The photo clue and location history are clutch for stuff I move around between drawers and closets.
