Nice concept Bram. Would love to see this grid in alphabetical order. Currently, they are all in the orange boxes and I get lost trying to look for something. Maybe if there was some visual way to represent each category (Different background / color) Possibly even have the top 3 in each category on the homepage, and you can click for more under each category? Just an idea.
Bram Kanstein (@bramk)
@jadlimcaco Thanks Jad! So I had them ordered alphabetically at first, but now they're in the order that (kinda) represents the process from getting an idea to creating a startup. The products in each category are not ranked in any way, it's up to you to decide which resource or tool fits the stage your startup is in right now.

@bramk Category first. Alphabetically within category. One list. Separate categories.

This. is. awesome. As a Startup Weekend facilitator and general startup community guy, this is an amazing list to answer pretty much any question starting with, "Where can I..."
Bram Kanstein (@bramk)
@kyletaylored YES, this is exactly the purpose of why I made this. I've had similar responses from universities to show it to their students and investors showing this to their portfolio, thanks Kyle!
Robert van Hoesel
Awesome, already posted links to the website 3 times today as an answer. I would make the add resource link more prominent though, maybe also in specific categories.
Bram Kanstein (@bramk)
@robertvhoesel thanks Robert! Getting tons of emails already haha
Paolo Perazzo
@bramk I agree with @robertvhoesel. I had to look for it and scroll to find the submit option. I'm sure by being on top of PH you will get tons of emails in the days :), but maybe this will help in the future. Another idea might be upvoting/likes on your proposed list so you can keep it short (very important :) and quickly eliminate the "losers" for new names. One thing I'd really change is to have the link to the website accessible directly in the list vs. having to open a new page with almost the same information. It's ok if I want more info, but accessing the site quickly is more important I think (or at least give me the option): now it takes 3 clicks from start to site. Excellent selection btw and of course thanks a lot for putting this together. It's great.

@robertvhoesel @sivola thanks for the feedback! noted your idea about putting the links on the category page :)

Like it Bram. As someone who's main learning style is visual one tweak I'd look to make is to add images for each category. If your plan is to stay with the red block grid style, then maybe on hover show a supporting image that backs up the text. No biggie at all and I can understand why you've not done that yet, but it helps us visual learners with easy browsing ;) Oozled.com is a good example of this. Another minor one, are the resources listed in order of quality? Is something at the top more highly recommended than at the bottom? Would be intrigued to see some form of obvious ranking, whether it be by you or the community (upvotes/recommend button?)
Bram Kanstein (@bramk)
@fredrivett thanks Fred! I'm thinking about a supporting image for the squares, love the way oozled does this. For now it's really an MVP, the products in a category are not ranked in any way, it's up to you to decide which one is best for the phase your startup is in right now :) Maybe with another layout of the category page this can be more clear. As said before, maybe it's best to see it as somewhat of a blog where I curate the content, with a focus on discovery, not on reviews or something like that.
Fred Rivett
@bramk Sure thing! Totally appreciate the MVP nature, it's already a valuable resource, good job on getting it out there.
Bram Kanstein (@bramk)
@fredrivett cheers!

I talked with @JoshMuccio about the creation of Startup Stash for his podcast the #DailyHunt, hope you like it :) https://dailyhunt.co/startup-stash/

Congrats on finally launching Bram, no doubt you painstakingly curated this yourself. Looks awesome :) Is this going to be updated periodically, or expanded, or where do you plan on taking it?
Bram Kanstein (@bramk)
@ryangum Thanks Ryan! Yeah, this took me a while to get together ;) I've been collecting and making lists for a very long time, so that's kinda where the idea came from. I love discovering new tools and resources (also why I <3 Product Hunt) so the first step was to bundle them, thinking about updating it from time to time, so you can somewhat see it as a blog ;)
Mike Smith
Nice job @bramk. Oh and thanks for including https://rollbar.com/ already getting some traffic. High-five!
Bram Kanstein (@bramk)
@themlsmith nice thanks!
