Hi Product Hunt — I built Starlight to make the reasoning behind a civilization-contribution ranking visible. Open a person’s record to see the contributions included, how credit is shared, and where evidence is missing. Scores are research estimates, and the method is still evolving. The overview, rankings, method history and about page are available in English. Person records share the same scores and source links in both languages. Selected detailed research notes are translated; the remaining notes are available in Chinese. Our hardest question is how to compare science, philosophy, education and culture fairly. What contribution would you add, or which judgment would you challenge?
