SquadPal

SquadPal is a fun employee engagement app for teams. The app includes games, competition and live experiences (i.e. cooking lessons, yoga, workouts, etc.) to help teams form meaningful connections at work. It enables teams to organise socials, play and build a safe environment where they can share with their teammates. They combine synchronous and asynchronous activities to make employee interactions continuous and fun.

Our story 📖 In our previous jobs, we felt that relationships at work were becoming too transactional. We used to have coffee chats with our colleagues, lunches, beers after work, socials. In a remote and hybrid world, this is obviously much more difficult to have. Some initiatives are done over Zoom to recreate the office banter like “Friday drinks”, where you tend to try a few tools like an online Pictionary or a Quiz. Some people try to organise challenges on Slack (e.g. virtual runs etc.). These are always one-offs, super time-consuming to organise and planned on several platforms across the internet. Introducing SquadPal 🎁 This is why we created SquadPal, the all-in-one platform for the life of the team: games, competitions, challenges, polls, recognitions, experiences consolidated into one single platform. Think of it as a Chief-Happiness-Officer as a service, for your team. We are creating a safe space, where employees are much more eager to share with their teammates (e.g. picture of your dog, a funny selfie..) and as a result create meaningful connections at work in a hybrid/remote world. Our features 🔥 🔥 🏃‍♂️ Challenges: Achieve a team objective as a team with live leaderboards. Run the distance between Paris and London virtually, try a 500km bike trip or collect bin bags in the street to have a positive impact on the environment. 🥇 Competitions: Get votes on your posts and aim to be the best. Funniest selfie, baking contest, best remote set-ups and more. Leaderboards are included. 🎮 Games: Live games and asynchronous games. A fun quiz to play trivia with your colleagues over a zoom call or in your own time, but also a Team question game to learn more about each other. 💭 Polls: Weekly temperature checks. Feel the team mood, and see changes week on week. Answers are anonymous. 🙌 Recognitions: Praise the great work of your teammates. No more unnoticed achievement. ✨ Live Experiences: Fun zoom classes including yoga classes, HIIT training or cooking classes. 🏆 You get points for every action you do on the app, to hopefully climb to the top of that squad podium. Can't recommend app enough. Been using it in my team at Growth Tribe once Kahoot fatigue started happening (months ago). HR professionals and functional leaders out there should DL and share this app. You won't regret it.
