It's like Reddit and Twitter had the perfect baby. Updates and upgrades are pushed out almost daily. One of the speediest and most stable social media platforms I've ever used.

Really great social community app, which in the lake of Twitter and Reddit demonstrating how they perceive their uses to be of no value, is an absolute breath of fresh air. The platform itself is very responsive and there is a growing pool of high-quality 3rd parts apps. The design is sleek and easy to understand, with changes coming daily in response to community suggestions and issues. The community is really responsive and it honestly feels very genuine and fun.

Excellent amalgamation of the best parts of Twitter and Reddit, and there are already a bunch of communities on there with some great content - hope to see it grow!

One of the best alternatives to Reddit that is a mix of Twitter and Reddit. Developer is very responsive with taking feedback and improving the site regularly and the community on the website is very friendly. I can highly recommend this website! It's a great place to hang out at and chat with people.

I really like Squabbles! Everyday I look forward to seeing what's new on Squabbles, both the improvements of the website that makes the site easier to use and the posts of the community members that I eagerly consume and engage with. It's a great website with a very clean layout and the developer is very responsive to suggestions and requests by the community. The community is very dear to me and very welcoming as well.

Squabblr once held such promise and potential, but has unfortunately taken a troubling turn in recent times. What was once a hub for connecting individuals and sharing diverse perspectives has devolved into a platform marred by divisive content and the promotion of hate speech against marginalised communities. The site’s lack of effective content moderation has allowed hate speech and harmful narratives to flourish. This has not only alienated many loyal users but has also created an environment that perpetuates discrimination and hostility towards marginalised groups. It’s deeply saddening to witness a platform that once encouraged inclusivity and open dialogue now contributing to the very divisiveness it once aimed to counter.

One of the best link aggregator & discussion communities available today. Extremely responsive developer, great features, and growing fast. And best of all, it’s managed to avoid the toxicity and divisiveness of the more entrenched players. August 21, 2023 edit: I’m afraid I will have to retract the last sentence. While Mr. Lee is a talented developer, he is not a talented community manager. He managed to alienate almost his entire user base literally overnight by changing the TOS to explicitly remove protections for the LGBT community, among many, many other boneheaded mistakes. I cannot and will not support a site that has decided to cater to right-wing hate, and is just managed so poorly in general.

A perfect replacement for Reddit, which was declining for years. Wholesome communities and discussions, and a beautiful flowing design of the feed of posts and comments.

I love that it's a mix of Reddit and Twitter. A discussion could come from a post to a themed community or just an unthemed post to the whole of Squabbles users. The admin team is really responsive. It's new, but thanks to the TOS and the site setup, it already has an engaged community.

A good mix of Reddit-like communities and personal posts, with an impressively active and responsive developer. Comments being on the side of posts without needing to open them is really nice.
